1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and a hashed password. We do not collect your name, phone number, or payment information.
When you upload a file, it is stored in our cloud storage for processing. Files you upload may contain personal or sensitive data — we do not read, analyse, or share their content for any purpose other than performing the transformations you request.
2. How we use your data
- Account data — to authenticate you and associate your files with your account.
- Uploaded files — to run the CSV operations you trigger (validation, fixes, exports, etc.) and to display results in your browser session.
- Session cookies — to keep you signed in across page loads.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the service.
3. Data retention
Uploaded files remain in storage until you delete them from your dashboard or delete your account. Account data (email, password hash) is deleted immediately when you close your account via Account settings → Delete account.
We may keep anonymised, aggregated usage statistics (e.g. number of files processed) indefinitely. These contain no personal information.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or file contents with third parties, except:
- Infrastructure providers — our hosting and cloud storage providers process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements (e.g. AWS S3 for file storage, if applicable). They cannot access your data for their own purposes.
- Legal obligation — if required by law or a valid court order.
5. Security
Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes. Data in transit is protected by TLS. We apply reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing

7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party advertising cookies.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
